Course Pre-requisites:

  • In order to gain the most from this course, delegates should have in mind an automation project that they want to develop.

  • As this will be a remote training and it cannot be completed with hardware so we expect that you already have the hardware for which you would like the training.

    Don't have the hardware? Contact us and we could also provide the hardware to rent.

  • This course starts from the perspective of delegates already being computer literate in basic desktop applications such as Microsoft Word, Excel and Powerpoint, or other Open Office equivalents.

  • Introduction to basics of automation

  • Structure of the easyE4

  • Components in the easyE4 series

  • Converting circuit diagrams to easyE4 circuit diagrams

  • Timing relay and counter function blocks

  • Analog value connection

  • Text output on easyE4 display

  • Weekly and yearly timer

  • Data logger, alarm, and interrupt function blocks

  • Net communication via Ethernet

  • Utilizing ladder logic and circuit diagrams

  • How to test and configure your system

By the end of this course delegates will be able to:
